Santa Clara County, in Southern California has passed a law making it illegal for fast food chains to entice kids to eat unhealthy food with toys.
Of course the fast food chains are appealing this decision. Others think it's a good idea.
Do you think it is a good idea?
Should the government be able to decide what children should eat?
Or should that be left up to the parents to decide?

I don't think it should be illegal. It is up to the parents. At least fast food restaurants are having healthy options like apple slices and oranges. Parents have the option to choose what they buy for their children. If parents are buying their kids happy meals I am sure they are letting them eat other junk foods at home, so it really doesn't matter. Although health is important, I think there are a lot of other things the government should be making illegal.
It's ridiculous. i cannot believe that it really passed.
